Kate took Polly into the main ring for the first time on the Monday of Royal Welsh. Polly behaved beautifully for a five year old and was very mannerly when the judge rode her. She ended up 8th out of 53 ponies.
She returned on the last day for the Hoys qualifier, Polly floated in her show and was awarded highest ride mark of 48. Unfortunatley the conformation was not to her taste and she finished 5th. Very pleased with her behaviour all week.

FINALLY, after countless seconds and years of trying Alex has finally won the Royal Welsh! She owes it to her 21st birthday present, Thistledown Golden Zumba who won the three year old section B filly class 2014.
