The most fantastic week at Royal Welsh! Better than we could ever dreamed of! |
We can now officially say we bred a winner of the Royal Welsh and we did it twice this week !!! | |
The first homebred to win, Ringside Lucifer, out of our young mare Pennal Mia's Image that was bought privately from Dai Harris of the Pennal stud. He is by the Prince of Wales cup Winner, Pennal Brynmor. He has inherited his mother's outstanding colour and markings with his father's presence and look at me attitude! We feel this colt has a huge future because he has the X factor! He made the ring his own!

It was Gareth's first time in the showring, what a place to make your debut, the Royal Welsh.

Thomas started off the week with a very credable 2nd out of 28 in the ridden stallion class. The ride judge was impressed with the amount of work Kate had obviously put in behind the scenes, she said he was a wonderful ride and later gave him the highest ride mark. |
The second homebred to win the Royal Welsh in a week, Ringside Thomas, also qualifying for Horse of the Year show! There were 64 out of 77 entered! He had the highest ride mark 47 and the highest conformation 46! Alex and Dymock Kickstart also had a good Royal Welsh. They were 5th in the Hoys qualifier, there were two hoys qualified ponies above her and another two below. |
