We had a fantastic start to the season at the first Hoys qualifier.
SpringField Park Dot Com was thrown in the deep end and behaved impeccably. Having looked at the schedule the night before we discovered the Novice classes were on really late and therefore decided that it made more sense to do the class (Hoys qualifier) in the morning. We quickly put together a open bridle and hoped he'd cope with a pelham the next day! He exceeded all our expectations, not only coping with the 'show environment' but with the new bit aswell. We ended up a very respectable fourth out of eighteen, seven of which had previously qualified for HOYS!
Needless to say we are over the moon especially after only having him 8 weeks!
We will compete him in his first few novice/Picton qualifiers next.

Ringside Thomas went in his first Hoys qualifier today also. He came fourth out of twenty six gaining the highest conformation mark! We are very pleased with Thomas's progress and are looking forward to hopefully a succesful season with him.
