Our final foal for this year, a beautiful strong colt.
He is the first born foal we have had out of our young mare bought from the Thorneyside reduction sale, Gwernfythan Melody, she is also the dam to last years two year old colt winner of the Royal Welsh, Thorneyside the Contender.
All future foals from Melody will be named after songs, his name is based on this idea combined with his sires name, Troy. Therefore he is called "Zorba" the traditional Greek song for celebrations, where they smash plates and dance in a circle!
