What a fab weekend away spent with such fab company!  

Sunday night was spent with Alex, Kate and Tori working in ponies! And Tori getting to have a sneaky ride on the Sandman!! Ponies were a bit fresh but all settled down nicely!

First pony in the ring was Sandy aka Ringside Game Over. He had hell of an evening after a very jealous person let him out of his stable and he was loose for the majority of the night. However, he still managed to excel himself even though he was extremely wound up and ended up 2nd in his first HOYS Qualifier of the year on joint marks with the winner.

Next in the ring was Kate's Section C WHP, Synod Rain Dancer, who hasn't been in the show ring since last August. He went very sweetly in the HOYS flat class and gained a credible 9th in good company.

It was so fab catching up with all our friends- lots of laughs had!

However, the stars of the day had to be Tori Thomas and Coppellia winning a HUGE Hoys Section B Junior Class and then going on to be Champion!

The two of them endured torrential weather conditions and the heavens opened just as they went out to do their individual show but they pulled it out of the bag gaining top ride mark and top conformation mark!

Massive well done and thank you must go to Tori for riding Queen Cops so beautifully and not moaning when she got soaking wet!

And to top it off we had a phone call from Chris, who had stayed at home, to let us know a bay C filly had been born in our absence!  A HOYS ticket and a filly foal make a very short journey home!!
